Will be held Saturday, May 30th 8-4:30 at the Tolland Agricultural Center. The program is designed for enrolled UConn 4-H’ers ages 7-18, parents and 4-H leaders, and is also open to Out-of-State & unenrolled 4-H members. Workshops will be divided by dairy and meat goat exhibitors and level of experience.
All goats must be individually listed on a CVI issued in 2026. All 2026 CT Fair and Show Requirements apply. Penning off trailers is encouraged. Limited stalls will be available for use. Everyone is expected to assist with clean-up. Those using a pen inside must bring their own bedding and are encouraged to bring a tarp.
Registration is $45 per youth. A limited number of goats will be available to borrow for an additional fee of $25 per youth.
Space is limited, register early. Substitutions will be filled from waitlist. Registration will close May 1st or when capacity is reached. Youth who are not registered UConn 4-H members will need to complete supplemental registration forms.
Adult workshops: See registration form on Marketplace or below.
Registration fees are non-refundable. If a parent/guardian will not be accompanying a youth, the chaperone must have a 4-H Member Health Form in their possession signed by the youth’s parent/guardian. The Health Form is available at s.uconn.edu/4hhealthform.
