As a 4-H volunteer, you play a powerful role in the lives of young people. This interactive workshop introduces you to the fundamentals of Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA)—a training designed to help adults recognize and respond to signs of mental health challenges in youth. You’ll also receive information on how to sign up for an upcoming YMHFA training class. But we’re not stopping there. Helping others starts with taking care of yourself. That’s why we’ll guide you through creating a personalized self-care plan to manage stress, prevent burnout, and maintain balance. Whether you’re new to 4-H or a longtime volunteer, this session will equip you with the confidence and self-care strategies you can use every day.
