UConn 4-H Day at the Capitol

Youth observe state government by participating in workshops at the state Capitol as well as meeting with legislators and other government officials. Workshops may include holding mock debates and votes on a selected topic of interest to teens. Held annually in April, for ages 12-18. Teens are invited to be on a planning committee for this event.

Register early as sessions fill quickly. Schedule subject to change. All participants, both youth and chaperones, must pay a non-refundable $25 each. If a parent/guardian will not be accompanying a youth, the chaperone must have a 4-H Member Health Form in their possession signed by the youth’s parent/guardian. All participants will get a lunch included in the registration fees.
