UConn 4-H Holiday Card Contest

Current UConn 4-H members, ages 5-18 as of October 1, 2025, are invited to design a holiday card for UConn 4-H. One design will be used for a holiday card to be sent to 4-H supporters to express our gratitude and well wishes. The first-place winner will receive a prize package from UConn 4-H and will be credited on the card. 

Submit entries to 4-H @uconn.edu by Monday, October 13, 2025.

RULES & GUIDELINES 

  • Submissions should be 5x7” or 7x5” 
  • Designs should emphasize winter as the theme (e.g., landscapes, snowflakes, winter activities, etc.) 
  • Designs should not focus on any religious holidays and be free of any religious holiday symbols.  
  • Designs must include at least one 4-H element 
  • The official 4-H logo is available by request from 4-H@uconn.edu or from your 4-H office. 
  • Messages such as “Happy Holidays,” “Warmest Holiday Greetings,” “Season’s Greetings,” and similar are encouraged 
  • Designs must include color; at a minimum, the message should be in color if the design is black and white or greyscale 
  • Designs must be original and may be drawings, digital creations, paintings, or a photograph 

Each entry must be submitted through the submission form below as a PDF or image file (JPG, GIF, PNG). Only digital copies through the entry form below will be accepted. 

  1. Be sure to have the entry completed before starting the submission. Uploading a PDF or image file of the entry is required to complete submission. 
  1. Handmade entries (painting, drawing, etc.) need a high-quality picture uploaded so that we can adequately judge and easily reproduce a digital version. 
  1. Members may submit a maximum of two entries. 

If any of the above rules are not followed, the entry may be disqualified. 

UConn 4-H reserves the right to modify the entry for final printing.
